Over 18,000 LED bulbs lit up California’s Tallest Live-Cut Tree presented by COACH (115 ft.) on Saturday, November 11th, at Citadel Outlets' 22nd Annual Tree Lighting Concert.
The evening began with a joyful atmosphere as over 10,000 visitors explored Citadel Outlets, savoring the festive decorations and enjoying some holiday shopping. As the sun set and darkness enveloped the surroundings, the excitement grew. The show was hosted by American Idol’s JRAND. He began the evening by welcoming the City of Commerce’s mayor, Hugo A. Argumedo.
The talented kids from Orange County School of the Arts Montage! opened the event with a festive performance. After, OCHA, Futurepop performed on stage with their pop musical dancing and singing. Nickelodeon star of Monster Hight 2; Nayah Damesen performed several Christmas songs included her new single Creep. Dameson’s performance radiated a magnetic charm.
JRand welcomed OCHA Montage! back to the stage and this time santa joined them for the big countdown. With the flip of a switch, the tree burst to life, illuminating the night sky with its vibrant glow. The crowd erupted in applause and cheers, marveling at the majestic beauty of the towering tree. Santa and the performers created a magical ambiance that captured the spirit of the season.
After the tree was lit, a palpable buzz swept through the air as Grammy-winning a cappella sensation Pentatonix took center stage, poised to regale the audience with their enchanting renditions of cherished Christmas melodies. Adorned in elegant festive attire, the quintet commanded attention from the moment they stepped on stage. Their seamless harmonies and masterful vocal arrangements elevated familiar holiday tunes to an ethereal plane, captivating the audience with an unparalleled musical finesse.
After the final performance from Pentatonix, the crowd was treated to Snowy Nights,' our exclusive holiday snow show and holiday lights spectacular that brings a winter wonderland to Los Angeles.
